숲에 가 보니 나무들은
제가끔 서 있더군
제가끔 서 있어도 나무들은
숲이었어.
광화문 지하도를 지나며
숱한 사람들과 만나지만
왜 그들은 숲이 아닌가.
이 메마른 땅을 외롭게 지나치며
낯선 그대와 만날 때
그대와 나는 왜
숲이 아닌가.

But why they are not forest
